EEF_Logo_Black_50_year_version1ALUMNI & RETIREES ... FOREVER A PART OF THE ELMBROOK COMMUNITY

The Elmbrook Education Foundation (previously the Lancer-Spartan Scholarship Fund) believes it is important to retain a connection to those that have been part of building and sustaining the Elmbrook School District (Elmbrook's staff) as well as those who have attended Elmbrook Schools.

You are not merely connected to a single school (i.e where you graduated or where you worked) but are alumni of the District as a whole.  You are part of our heritage and will forever be an important part of the Elmbrook community.

HOW THE FOUNDATION CAN HELP YOU STAY CONNECTED

There is currently no formal Elmbrook Alumni Association and the School District maintains a limited amount of data on and communication with our alumni and retirees.

In an effort to fill the gap, the Foundation now maintains a list of class contacts dating back to 1958 for both schools.  We have formed an alumni committee represented by retirees as well as BCHS & BEHS alums to identify information that might be of interest to our "Elmbrook Alumni" who no longer get Elmbrook news.

Here is what we have heard so far:

  • Provide opportunities for local alumni/retirees to get together on occasion.
  • Keep you informed of events/activities that may be of interest to you (Celebrations, Renovations, Alumni Award Programs, Alumni Events, etc.)
  • Help out of town reunion coordinators identify area restaurants/hotels that are supportive of Elmbrook Schools (might help you get a good rate)
  • Assist reunion contacts in getting spiritwear for your upcoming event (for sale or raffle fundraisers)
  • Provide information on staff retirements
  • Provide information on staff and classmates that have been honored through the Foundation's tribute gift program.
  • Provide information on memorial funds established for those that have passed.

The EEF holds two annual social events a year.  These events provide a wonderful opportunity to gather a group of friends (current/prior classmates, current/prior staff, etc.) together for a great time and great food.  These events have NO FORMAL PROGRAM and are designed for socializing.
